Vision & Mission

The following Core Values are to guide all that BSSP seeks to do and be evident to those we serve across the South Pacific Region and to our partners across the world.

1.    Honoring God and seeking Christ’s Will as we seek to play our part in the fulfilment of the Great Commission.

2.    Diversity. We acknowledge that we are under charge to serve all people in the 16 Island countries and over 250 languages, no matter what state they are in relation to the Word of God, irrespective of race, language, color or religion.

3.    Accountability. We are accountable to God and to our partners and all stakeholders to responsibly steward our resources for Bible work across the Pacific.

4.    Commitment to our Philadelphia Promise. That we will:

·       Ensure that the audiences we serve are represented in program planning.

·       Partner with local churches in our local and regional strategy planning.

·       Renew our commitment to the support of Bible Societies working in contexts where Christians are under pressure.

·       Application of appropriate digital technology, to reach new audiences generating greater engagement.

·       Engage in Holistic Ministries

·       Promote organizational excellence.

·       Seek to achieve Mission Sustainability.
